The Director-Producer team has been working together for the past seven years on a variety of documentaries, film, and television content.
DIRECTOR
Richard Goldgewicht
Named by Filmmaker Magazine as one of independent film’s most promising new talents, Richard Goldgewicht first came to attention with his award-winning short films “Blue Rondo” and “Tel Aviv”, which have played in film festivals and on television networks around the world.
Though vastly different in subject matter, Richard’s early shorts showcase his unique voice and abilities as a filmmaker. Dialogue often takes a back seat to the actions and emotions of the story’s characters. Music is always a key storytelling device in Richard’s work, as are his humorous touches, which are at once original and universal.
In addition to directing and editing his own short films, Richard honed his storytelling skills by editing independent feature films in North America, and directing commercials for Trattoria Filmes in Sao Paulo, one of Brazil’s most cutting-edge commercial film production and design houses. Richard has also developed his talents as a documentary filmmaker, working on several music documentaries for MTV, environmental films for the Goldman Foundation in San Francisco, and directing the independent feature documentary “The Blessing Tree”, in the Brazilian Amazon.
Richard is currently working on his first feature film, "Pablo", an animated biopic that tells the story of design guru Pablo Ferro. Blending character animation, motion graphics and documentary footage, the film is narrated by Jeff Bridges and features interviews with Hollywood greats such as Jonathan Demme, Norman Jewison, Stan Lee, Angelica Huston and many more. The film will be ready for release in early 2010.
Richard was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and lives in Los Angeles.

PRODUCER
Jeremy Goldscheider
Jeremy Goldscheider began his producing career creating image campaigns for major recording artists including Shaggy, Blink 182 and Eagle Eye Cherry. These music videos and documentary packages aired on MTV U.S, Latin America, and Europe. In 1999 Goldscheider created Esonic, Inc., a multi-media advertising agency designed to connect youth with targeted music and web content. With offices in Hollywood and Tokyo, Esonic produced music and internet branding campaigns for dozens of companies including Nike, Toyota, and Calvin Klein. His interest in communicating with young audiences continued in 2003 with the creation of original television and web content for BBC America, MTV, Animal Planet, and NBC/Universal.
In 2006 Goldscheider approached producer Norman Lear to help finance and launch “PABLO”. This feature film, also geared towards today’s youthful audiences is an animated biopic that blends animation, documentary, design, and music to tell the compelling life story of artist Pablo Ferro. “PABLO” is scheduled to be released globally in early 2010.
Goldscheider’s follow up project is a film entitled Trochenbrod, a mixed media feature film that takes place during the Holocaust. Trochenbrod tells the story of a group of survivors who escaped Trochenbrod during the massacre that wiped out the all-Jewish town. This film will also utilize original animation and contemporary documentary footage to relate this compelling tale.
Both PABLO and Trochenbrod are part of an emerging new genre that is redefining non-fictional storytelling.
Originally from New York, Goldscheider currently resides in Los Angeles.
