“TROCHENBROD”

“Trochenbrod” is a feature-length documentary film that tells the story of the all Jewish town of Trochenbrod. This Eastern European town together with its 5,000 people, was wiped off the face of the earth during the Holocaust. The film will bring together interviews from around the world with Trochenbrod’s remaining survivors. Throughout their first-hand testimonials the film takes us into a magical animated world illustrating the words and stories of the survivors from Trochenbrod. This historical narrative is enhanced and expanded upon through the stories of a group of survivors from Trochenbrod and their descendants who will be returning to the site of Trochenbrod as part of an international gathering in the summer of 2009.
